* Material Identification & Traceability / Review of Manufacturers’ Test Certificates. . * Witnessing / Review of Welding Procedure Specification and (or) Procedure Qualification Test / Record. . * Witnessing /Review of Welder / Welding Operator / Weld Consumables Qualification Test / Record. . * Visual inspection of weld joint fit up, Back Gouge preparation along with monitoring of Quality parameters as per Code, Specification and National/International Standards. * In process welding inspection (conformance and adherence to WPS – Essential Variables). . * Visual inspection of completed welds for detection of surface discontinuities, if any. * Witnessing and interpretation of Magnetic Particle and (or) Liquid Penetrant Test. . * Witnessing and interpretation of Ultrasonic Testing / Review and interpretation of Radiographs. . * Verification of Heat Treatment processes and review of chart. . * Witnessing PMI Testing. . * Identification, Correlation and laboratory witness of Mechanical Testing of materials (Tensile, Bend, Impact tests, Hardness tests etc). . * Witnessing Leak Test (Hydro / Pneumatic / Helium etc.). * Inspection of Surface Preparation, Painting and Coating. . * Dimensional inspection for conformance to design and drawing requirements. . * Inspection / Witnessing Operational / NPSH Test. . * Inspection of Balancing / Alignment of rotating parts of Machinery / Equipment. . * Source inspection and approval for concrete aggregates. * Concrete Batching plant surveillance – Inspection / Witnessing Water Absorption test and correction, Feeding of Aggregates, Slump Test, Casting of Cubes etc. * Inspection of Shotcrete, Crash Barriers, Retainers. . * Review of Documents; stage wise Quality Records as per approved ITP / Quality plans, Manufacturer’s Record Book. . * Inspection of Equipment Internals. Erection, Placement and Alignment of Equipment. . * Inspection of Marking, Identification, Tag and Packing. . * Review of Mix Design / Aggregates’ Sieve Analysis. . * Inspection / Witnessing Testing of Concrete cubes / Site surveillance / Storage of Cement Aggregates Admixture, Reinforcing Bars etc. . * Conducting basic awareness / refresher sessions for engineers and supervisors on ‘Welding Technology’, Relevant ASME standards on Welding, Fabrication, ISO 9001: 2008 Requirements etc. * Preparation of job / project specific procedures, Plans / ITP etc and (or) providing assistance in preparing job /project specific procedures, plans/ITPs etc.
