RMG ELECTROMECH – A BRIEF PROFILE

RMG Electromech Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, is a professionally run, ISO 9001- 2008 certified, design and manufacturing house with more than 2 decades of industry presence. Started in 1990, the company, has since been specializing in Design  and Manufacturing of complex , sophisticated electronic and electro mechanical controls which are integrated into key systems used in process control and allied industries.

Design and Development

Robust design of complex electronics has been our forte and integrating them with complementing mechanics has been our hallmark. We custom-design integrated control electronics and systems for process equipment. We manufacture and supply these under our own  brand as well as our OEM customers brands.

During the past 22 years, we have developed a host of feature- rich, integrated  electronic and electro- mechanical  products which were all well-accepted by the industry . Some of the products developed became import substitutions-like the 2- Wire Position Transmitters specially developed for the Control Valve Industry in India- which helped save valuable foreign exchange for the country to the tune of a few crores of rupees over the past many years!

We have two of our designs already patented and two others are pending for approval.

On the Design and Development side, we have the best of brains in both electronics and mechanics, consisting of a dedicated team of engineers and technicians. We nurture close ties with the centers of technological excellence like Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and are constantly guided by the technical luminaries there. Unique advantage to our credit is that we are able to execute complex electronic and electro-mechanical designs, meeting diverse customer specs, in real short time.

Our Facility and Systems

On the operations side, we have an wholly- owned well-equipped design and manufacturing centre of about 10000 sft area, equipped with Design Lab,Assembly Lines, Wave soldering Machine, CNC Winding Machine, Environmental Test Chambers, Ultrasonic Cleaning Machines, Burn-in-Testers, Incoming, In-Process and Final inspection stations, well-equipped mechanical sheet metal work shop, stand by Power  Generators and other utilities.

Quality Assurance is an integral part of our operations, We have a dedicated professional QC team amongst us who ensure Quality Control  right from the beginning - ie starting with 100% inspection of key components through process  inspection to final inspection and packing , following the respective Quality Plans.

Our abilities are translated into business processes that are administered following the PDCA concept. Business Management System at RMG is ISO 9001:2008 based which has been certified by TUV SUD since  year 2009. For us, the QMS Certificate is not just a decorative piece hanging on our walls, but is a real tool to take our business to hitherto un-scaled heights.

Team RMG is of about 120 members consisting of engineers, MBAs, accountants, science graduates, ITI trained technicians, etc. Each of us are carefully groomed to be part of an wholesome team.

Our major customers today are from the Process Control and allied industries. However, we are on our way to diversifying into other sectors like Automobiles, Robotics, Aviation , Defense, Fertiliser,  Building  Automation and Safety, Power Supplies, Locomotives, Renewable Energy, etc.
