MUMBAI: GroupM, WPP's media investment management operation, has announced thatAjit Varghese, MD, Maxus South Asia, will move to Singapore as CEO, Maxus AsiaPacific.
Varghese will report to Mark Patterson, CEO, GroupM Asia Pacific, and Vikram Sakhuja, CEO, Maxus Global. He takes over from Neil Stewart, who, in turn, is being promoted to the newly created position of chief client officer, Maxus Global.
Verghese's successor in India has not been announced yet, though, according to CVL Srinivas, CEO, GroupM South Asia, the evaluation process is on and a decision will be made soon.
Varghese said this is a recognition of Maxus India's success in the global operation.
