The FK-5-1-12 Gas Flooding System is a total flooding clean agent fire suppression system that uses Dodecafluoro-2-methylpentan-3-one (trade name: Novec™ 1230 by 3M, or similar equivalents) as the extinguishing agent. It’s designed to protect entire enclosed areas by rapidly discharging the gas to suppress a fire before it can cause significant damage. Main Components Cylinders – Store FK-5-1-12 liquid with nitrogen pressurization. Release Valves – Operated by solenoid, pneumatic, or manual actuator. Piping Network – Delivers gas evenly across the protected area. Nozzles – Engineered for correct discharge pattern.
