Pressure Gauge Adaptor: Safe way to check cylinder pressure A) How to operate: 1. Fix gauge adaptor to the cylinder valve outlet by hand and tighten by spanner. 2. Open cylinder valve. Pressure will register on the pressure gauge provided to the gauge adaptor. 3. Close cylinder valve. 4. Release pressure by slowly tightening brass bolt provided at the end. The pressure in the manifold will become zero. 5. Now, remove gauge adaptor from cylinder safely by spanner. B) Features: 1. While removing gauge adaptor from cylinder, the pressure is fully released, thereby avoiding thread damage if we try to open it under pressurized condition. 2. Quick and Easy solution. To determine whether the CO2 extinguisher is pressurized or not, we have to remove attachments such as wheels, carrying handle etc, and then weigh it. With gauge adaptor, it is possible to check pressure on the spot. C) Size: Gauge adaptors are available for: 1. Air cylinders used with BA sets 2. CO2 cylinders used as Fire extinguishers. Other thread sizes can be supplied as per client’s need.
